If life is one of those roads with lots of intersections, mergers and the occasional crazy driver (you know, the old lady who can’t see over the steering wheel), Amile’s career has been defined by finding all the cross roads, then paving even more roads so that the fork becomes a ten way street. As if decisions weren’t hard enough already.

After growing up in the world of live theatre, Amile segued his love of performance into public speaking and the political arena. In the world of campaigns, Amile wrote press releases, designed brochures, created fundraising videos, and organized a whole lot of events. Some of them were even successful. After a healthy career in the world of campaigns (as if politics can ever truly be healthy), Amile began to refocus his efforts back to theatre. As luck would have it, his campaign skills paid off there as he started doing marketing and media work for the theatre program at Belhaven College. Of course, like most streets, this one went both ways. One of his political compatriots started a magazine and remembered the artistic politician and offered him a job writing and photographing.
Ever since, Amile has created a niche for himself in the entertainment industry as a performer, director, and business consultant. Currently, Amile works as Creative Director of Pippin & Maxx Arts and Entertainment, a company he founded with his family to promote children’s educational initiatives in the state of Mississippi. Amile also continues to work as an independent consultant, photographer, filmmaker, and all around good guy. |
